How to Get Started
Your WebFiles Account and index.html

You can use WebFiles to store your web page files and display those files on the Web!

Now all you have to do is note a few things about WebFiles.

To access WebFiles, you can get to it through CUConnect. Or go directly to https://webfiles.colorado.edu/. You will need to use your CU Login Name and IdentiKey password to log in to WebFiles.

Once you are in WebFiles, you will see a folder called www. This is where you will keep your web page files.

Within the www subdirectory you should create and save a page as index.html. This will activate your website in your directory listing and it will serve as your homepage. You can now use that file to start making your web site.
