How to Get Started for Faculty and Staff Personal Web Page Files
Using your webaccount

Note: If you are a student go to www.colorado.edu/its/docs/web/creation/getstarted.html for your instructions.

You will use your web account. This account is on your e-mail server (typically on spot). With this account you will be able to store HTML pages that you want to display on the Web.

Within the public_html subdirectory you should create and save a page as index.html. This will activate your website in your directory listing and it will serve as your homepage. You can now use that file to start making your web site.
