Installation Instructions

1. To run CUantivirus successfully, you must uninstall any antivirus software before you install the CUantivirus software. If you don't have antivirus software already installed, skip to step 6 below.

2. To remove the software, open the Control Panel.

3. Double-click on Add or Remove Programs. This will open up a new window that shows all the software on your computer that is available to uninstall.

4. Select the antivirus you wish to uninstall and click on the Remove button.

5. If it does not do it automatically it will go through a very easy to follow set of boxes to uninstall the software. Most antivirus clients after being uninstall will show a new window prompting to restart your computer.

6. After you have downloaded the CUantivirus installer double-click on the installer-cuantivirus icon to launch the installation program.

2. Click Next to start the installation, as shown below:

7. Before you can continue you need to read and accept the terms of the license agreement. Click on the I Agree button.

8. Click on the Next button to continue.

9. Select Install to accept the default installation locations, as shown below:

10. The installation may take several minutes.

11. Once the installation is complete click on the Finish button to exit the installation program and restart your computer.

12. CUantivirus has been installed. The first thing that you need to do is an update. This is simple and pretty fast. First, identify the CUantivirus realtime monitor in the system tray. It's a green square with an animated yellow diagnostic line.

13. Right click on the the realtime monitor and select Download Updates Now...

14. After a moment, a new icon will appear indicating that an update is in progress.

15. When the update icon disappears, CUantivirus is up-to-date.

CUantivirus will now automatically update itself every hour to have the latest virus definitions, so you don't have to set an update schedule.
