ITS Home >> Security >> CUantivirus >> Windows CUantivirus Realtime Monitor Instead of disabling CUantivirus, ITS recommends that you set the program to Snooze. To do this, follow these instructions for CUantivirus version 8.x: 1. Right click on the eTrust Antivirus icon in the system tray, as shown below:
2. In the menu that opens, select Antivirus.
3. Then select Snooze Realtime.
3. A Realtime Monitor window will open. Type in an amount of time (in minutes) you would like the program to Snooze, or use the arrows to set the Snooze for as long as you would like, as shown below:
4. Click OK.
5. The Snooze on the Realtime Monitor has been set. You can tell by mousing over the eTrust Antivirus icon in your system tray, as shown below:
6. To re-enable Realtime Monitor before the Snooze time has expired, right click on the eTrust Antivirus icon in the system tray, as shown below:
7. In the menu that opens, Antivirus, as shown below:
8. Then select Monitor Outgoing and Incoming Files.
