On-campus residents: Wired High Speed Internet Connectivity
Students living in the residence halls and in university apartments
(family housing and Bear Creek) can connect their computers to
the wired campus network. To do so, you must set up and configure
your computer for Ethernet connectivity.
When this process is complete you must register your computer
on the network,
following the instructions below.
The Computer Registration Process
- Open a web browser and go to https://sysreg
.colorado.edu. Windows computers may be scanned for vulnerabilities, in which case you will be prompted to install updates from Microsoft.
- Next, you will automatically be taken to the registration page. First log in using your CU Login Name and IdentiKey password, or log in with your personal information.
- After logging in, you will be asked to review information about CU-Boulder’s Copyright policy. Read through the information and click on the I understand and will abide by this policy button.
- Next, you will see the “Use of CU-Boulder’s Computing and Network Resources” policy. Review the entire policy.
- Click Accept.
- If you have registered properly, you will be prompted to clear your web browser’s cache and then to shut down your computer and restart it.
- Clear your web browser's cache.
