Thesis Class
The University of Colorado specifies
just how Master's theses and Doctoral dissertations should be organized
and formatted. The file "thesis.cls" (version
1.10, January 2003, still valid) contains the definitions needed to make
the LaTeX2e class format your thesis to conform to these specifications.
Where to use it
The thesis class files are part of the LaTeX installation on the main
ITS systems spot
and rintintin. They are free to be downloaded for use
on any other computer.
Limitations
The file "thesis.cls" does not support hyperlinks within an electronic
document. Please note, the Graduate School doesn't allow
external hyperlinking (i.e., to web pages). Only internal hyperlinking
is allowed, so that a dissertation is self contained.
Various
related files
The file thesis.cls defines the formatting for thesis
class, but in turn requires a few other standard LaTeX files. Also, for
some rough drafts you may want to use (to save paper) a modified
class, file thesis2side.cls, for 2-sided single-spaced
printing.
Sample
of usage
A quick way to use thesis class is to imitate the usage/syntax shown in
these sample files.

these details of usage.
