Overview

If you haven't already configured your Windows Mobile 6 device to use Exchange or synced it with your computer, follow the directions below. If you have previously synced your device with a computer, click here. With Exchange configured, you will be able to view the account's various mailboxes, and create custom mailboxes. Note: This document uses Windows Mobile Professional (which uses a touch screen), but the instructions are the same for Windows Mobile Standard.

Instructions

1. Select the Start menu.

2. Select Programs.

3. Select ActiveSync.

4. Select the set up your device to sync with it. link.

5. Enter exchange.colorado.edu in the Server address: field. Make sure that This server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection remains checked. Then, select Next.

6. Enter your CU Login name and IdentiKey password. Enter ad for the Domain.

7. Select Next.

8. Choose the items that you want to synchronize on your Windows Mobile device, then select Finish.

9. The Windows Mobile device will verify your settings and synchronize.

10. Once it is done, and shows Connected, you can exit by clicking the X button at the upper right hand side of the screen.

11. Your Exchange account has been setup and is now ready to be used with your Windows Mobile device.
