faculty member or course developers perspective. The documents are categorized
by the following sections:
End-of-Semester Best Practices
As the end of the fall semester rapidly approaches, there are a number of best practices that CULearn instructors are encouraged to follow. These include:
NOTE: ITS backs up all courses at the end of the term, so faculty no longer need to perform this process; however, periodic backups by faculty during the term are still suggested. Although the course can be used as a template in an upcoming semester, the student contributions are not retained in this template. Course and grade book information are protected by the Family Educational Rights And Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974 and as such should be stored according to the Minimum Security Standards for Networked Devices with Private and Restricted Data.
Web Grading: Registrar's upgrAde program
Instructors can upload CULearn grades into the Registrar's web grading
system, upgrAde, at the end of the semester. Learn
