Macintosh SSH Secure Shell Tunnel for FTP (or publish) tools |

Many web page creators enjoy using the built-in FTP or publishing function that their web page creation application has. This includes programs like Dreamweaver, Netscape Composer, and Microsoft Frontpage. CU-Boulder web page creators can now protect their login name and passwords while still using the built-in FTP or publishing function of their web page creation application. To make a secure connection, the built-in FTP or publish function will have to run through a Macintosh "tunnel" program called SSH (Secure Shell).
Install the Secure Macintosh Installer This is a single installer for both OS 9 and OS X systems. . The installer is around 12MB in size, so you will need to put it on a zip disk or other portable media if you are taking them elsewhere to install.
