This form lets you order keys in advance; you then need to pick up your keys at the IT Service Center (located two buildings east of the UMC on the first floor of the Telecommunication Center). Please remember to bring a Picture ID when you pick up your key.
Please also note that if you are sending someone to pick up the key for you, they will need to bring along a signed note from you giving your permission and their Buff OneCard.
Note: Faculty are eligible for master keys that work on all media cabinets with the exception of those in rooms CHEM 142 and MCDB A2B70.
Note: The classrooms Hale 270 and Hale 230 each have a closet door not a media cabinet. Until now, access for these closets worked with a media cabinet key. Access Services has recently replaced those cylinders. The closet room numbers are Hale 270A and HALE 230B. Both closets will now work with a Medeco key # A6HAB7.

Description of Facilities
Smart Classrooms These classrooms contain video/data projector, VCR/DVD PLAYER (DVD player also plays audio CDs). Rooms have a projection screen and Overhead projector for transparencies, and instructor Ethernet. Other equipment may be delivered upon request.
Large Lecture Halls These halls have same equipment as SMART CLASSROOMS and also a sound system.
CUClickers Receivers Select classrooms on campus have an i>clicker receiver stored in the media cabinet.
Smart Computing Labs These ITS managed student computing labs will contain varied quantities of computing workstations (desktops and/or notebooks), in addition to a video/data projector, projector screen and a VCR/DVD player (DVD player also plays audio CDs) for instruction purposes. (See the computing labs page at www.colorado.edu/its/labs/index.html for details on computing hardware and software and locations for these labs. Not all are smart labs.) Many of these smart computing labs have a dedicated instructor workstation that connects to the data projector and an Ethernet connection for the instructor. Other equipment may be delivered upon request.
Note: Instructors that use Apple laptops will need to bring their own VGA adapter to connect to campus data projectors.
