IT Training—Computer Based

Overview

ITS offers computer based training (CBT) through a tool called Skillsoft. Skillsoft is accessible through CUConnect. Read below for Skillsoft help.

Skillsoft Access

• Go to https://cuconnect.colorado.edu.
• Log in with IdentiKey.

Faculty and Staff

• Inside of CUConnect, click on the Tools and Resources tab and find the Computer Based Training channel
• Click on the Start Training button.

Students

• Subscribe to Computer Based Training in CUConnect. To do this:
  1. Inside of CUConect, click on Make Changes.
  2. Select the tab (page) that you want to put the Computer Based Training channel on. For example, you can have it on the "Welcome" page, or on "My Page."
  3. Click on the Add Channel button at the top of the page
  4. There are three steps for adding a new channel...
     1. In the Select a category section, click on Academics.
     2. Click on the Subscribe to this channel button next to Computer Based Training.
     3. To Add the selected channel:, click Add Channel Here.
  5. Now that you have added the Computer Based Training channel, click the Finished Making Changes and then OK.
