Deadline for Submission
Proposals must be submitted by midnight Mountain Time on September 10th.
Proposal Review, Selection, and Status Notification
All submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by members of the Symposium Planning Committee. Poster submitters will be notified of the acceptance (or rejection) of their poster by September 20th. Only the person who submits the proposal will receive correspondence relating to the submission. It is the responsibility of the submitter to inform symposium participants or poster co-authors of their proposal status and other relevant information.
Program Participant Registration Policy
All poster presenters must register to attend the symposium. Registration is free.
Poster Format & Symposium Set-up Information
We will provide thumbtacks and a 4' x 4', free-standing bulletin board at the Symposium for each accepted poster. When you arrive at the event you will find a bulletin board with your assigned poster number in upper right or left corner. Presenters are responsible for mounting their own materials between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM on Monday, October 1st. We ask that posters be left up until the event ends at 1:00 PM.
Requests for tables or extra space to accommodate models, equipment, and other materials should be made at the time of abstract submission in the comments box on the abstract form and are subject to approval.
The 10-11:30 portion ("CU STEM Education Showcase") of the Symposium will be divided into two sections. "A" will be 10-10:45 and "B" will be 10:45-11:30. Each accepted poster will be assigned to a section. Presenters are more than welcome to stand by their poster during BOTH sections, but are only required to present during their assigned half of the showcase. Please indicate on the poster proposal form if you have a section preference.
