The central theme of research at the ISL is the application of modified optics, digital signal processing and novel system analysis/synthesis techniques for the design of new imaging systems. These optical systems exhibit useful characteristics not obtainable from traditional design. Our research currently falls into four major areas: Fluorescence Microscope Imaging Focus-Invariant Imaging Aberration-Invariant Imaging Single Lens, Single Image Passive Ranging
