Jason Franz (Kram Lab) Receives Travel Award from Force and Motion Foundation Graduate student, Jason Franz (Locomotion Laboratory) was awarded one of nine $500 travel scholarships worldwide from the Force and Motion Foundation (forceandmotion.org) for his project titled "Mechanical work performed by the individual legs during uphill and downhill
walking." The Force and Motion Foundation assists promising graduate
students in fields related to multi-axis force measurement and
testing. Jason will use this travel scholarship to present his
research at a scientific meeting in 2012.
