Research and Professional Interests
- Development of coordinated behaviors; behavorial and kinematic techniques as well as computer-assisted methods for data analysis to study how complex motor behaviors, such as courtship and agressive displays, are assembled during ontogeny in birds, and to determine how sensory information is used to produce adaptive motor behaviors.
- Development and implementation of programs for advising prehealth students, including Orientation, Committee Letter, Essay Writing, Application, and Interview Strategies workshops, Health Professions Information Fair, website development, Prehealth courses, Medical Scholars Program, Health Professions RAP (scheduled to open 2012).
