Located at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, the University of Colorado Boulder is home to over 2,000 international students from more than 91 countries and offers a dynamic and diverse community of scholars and students.
Boulder is a very open and welcoming community and attracts people from all over the world. You will be sure to find your place both at CU and in Boulder!
In fall 2015, CU-Boulder total enrollment was 30,789 degree-seeking international students, 8.3 percent of whom were from countries other than the United States. Fifty-nine percent of our international students were studying at the undergraduate level; 41 percent were studying in graduate degree programs.
In spite of being a large university, 85 percent of classes have 50 students or fewer, and 51 percent of classes have 20 students or fewer. The faculty are passionate teachers, and they encourage students to meet them and ask questions during individual office hours.
