Volunteers needed for free tax help program
The Leeds School of Business is seeking volunteers for Tax Help Colorado, a free tax help program serving low income individuals and families. The program runs Wednesday evenings and Saturdays from Jan. 30 through March 13. Those who are experienced in tax preparation and/or are Spanish speaking are asked to email Victoria Marschner or call 303-492-4182 for information.
Apply for sustainable CU funding
Do you have an idea about how to make CU more efficient or less wasteful? Apply for Sustainable CU funding and see your idea come to life. Past projects have included large-scale campus gardens and bike stations. This year, more than $100,000 is available. The deadline for submissions is Feb. 1. Faculty request for proposals on civic engagement and ethical inquiry
The Institute for Ethical and Civic Engagement (IECE) announces the fifth annual opportunity for faculty to apply for funding to include civic engagement and/or ethical inquiry in academic offerings. Help to further the university's commitment to the civic and ethical dimensions of education by submitting your proposal no later than Feb. 1.
