CIMB ground breaking Sept. 9
The ground breaking for the new Colorado Initiative in Molecular Biotechnology (CIMB) systems biotechnology building takes place Sept. 9, 4 p.m. at the East Campus Research Park. The building will provide high-quality, LEED-certified interactive laboratory space that includes computer scientists, chemists, physicists and engineers whose work impacts biomedical scientists. Tailored to facilitate interdisciplinary research, the building will represent a new construction concept for this university, to break down existing silos and promote integration of scientific research.
