Norlin Ink Spot copy center closing July 17 The copy center in Norlin Library will be closing July 17. Services will continue to be available at the UMC Ink Spot and Printing Services in Folsom Stadium. The Testing and Assessment Center (TAC) will have a new location, room E203 in Norlin Library. Updates will be provided as the move approaches. For more information contact CU Imaging Services, 492-7388. Do You Have a Connection to the 2008 Olympics? Donate business attire to “Suit Yourself” Cleaning out your closet this summer? Donate professional attire to the “Suit Yourself” Program so that students are well-dressed for job interviews. Career Services is collecting gently worn business attire to be sold to students at low cost at the “Suit Yourself” clothing sale in the fall. Men’s and women’s suits, jackets, pants, shirts, skirts, ties and handbags will be accepted at Career Services and all Art Cleaners stores in Boulder now through Aug.18. Proceeds benefit the Multicultural Engineering Program and the Multicultural Business Students Association. For more information email Ann Herrmann or call 492-8020. Norlin expansion groundbreaking On June 23 a ceremonial ground breaking took place to celebrate the start of construction on the Norlin Library second floor research area and first floor learning commons. When completed, the second floor research area will be 7,770 square feet and will include a consolidated service point for research assistance, library instruction classrooms, research consultation rooms and individual and group spaces. The learning commons will be15,050 square feet and will include flexible, collaborative and individual work spaces, team technology rooms, the Writing Center, a hot topics reading area, a technology classroom and a coffee shop. As an added surprise at the event, Dean Jim Williams was presented with a plaque honoring his 20th anniversary as dean.
