Faculty: request CULearn courses early
Avoid the start-of-the-semester crunch and reserve CULearn courses now for the coming spring semester. Requests should be made through the Faculty Tool Kit channel in CUConnect. New blank courses or courses based on a template already in the system dating as far back as spring 2007 may be requested. For more information visit the CULearn website or contact the IT Service Center.
New online training opportunities begin this month
On Dec. 22, all CU employees will have a new, greatly expanded array of online learning for required training or optional professional development. Employee training on Blackboard will move to a learning management system called SkillPort, designed by SkillSoft. We recommend all employees complete training started in Blackboard by Dec. 21. Beginning Dec. 22, employees will be able to access the new system through the myTraining section of the CU System portal or through CUConnect. For more information email Janet Lowe, system training manager.
