Farewell reception for Christy Arguello today, Tuesday, Oct. 14 Join Chancellor G.P. "Bud" Peterson and Boulder campus community members in congratulating Managing Senior Associate University Counsel, Christine Arguello on her appointment to the U.S. District Court Bench. Her farewell reception today, Tuesday, Oct. 14 takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Chancellor's Office, 914 Broadway. Buffalo Bicycle Classic reaches million-dollar milestone On Sept. 7, the sixth annual Buffalo Bicycle Classic attracted 2,400 riders who cycled courses ranging from 14 to 100 miles. The 2008 BBC reached the one-million dollar mark in funds raised for scholarships. "Reaching the million-dollar milestone is a tribute to the thousands of riders, volunteers, sponsors and donors whose participation and hard work has supported hundreds students with demonstrated financial need," said Todd Gleeson, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. CU-Boulder among top sustainable campuses named by Rockefeller Foundation The University of Colorado at Boulder has been named one of the top 15 campuses in the nation for sustainability by the Rockefeller Foundation. The College Sustainability Report Card is considered the most credible and respected national ranking of its kind because it is the only independent sustainability evaluation of campus operations and endowment investments.
