Bike to work on June 27
Get ready for Bike to Work Day 2007 on Wednesday, June 27! Did you know the city of Boulder first celebrated Bike to Work Day in Colorado more than 25 years ago? Since then, the event has become a statewide effort to encourage more commuters to bike to work. Although National Bike Month typically takes place during May in most states, Colorado has designated each June as Bike Month and the fourth Wednesday of the month as Bike to Work Day in order to avoid unruly weather. For more information, visit the Boulder and Denver Bike to Work 2007 websites.
