Who keeps our university in top shape? It's the People Behind the Scenes! Meet Celia Sinoway, director of the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program.

What is one thing you would like people to know about the work you do?
As a psychologist working with the Faculty and Staff Assistance program I provide services such as counseling, supervisor consultation, and workshops to university staff and faculty. The most important aspect of this work is helping to create a healthy, functioning community that enables students to thrive during their time at CU. I am passionate about the work I do for CU.

What do you like best about being a part of the CU community?
The thing I like best about being a part of the CU community is working collaboratively with the people in my department and staff in other units. Staff members within Students Affairs are competent, dedicated, creative and fun! I am able to consult, train, challenge myself, and learn along with a wonderful group of people.

What is your favorite activity/interest outside of work?
My favorite activity outside of work is being a mom. Spending time with my daughter and my family is rewarding and fun. I try to cherish and enjoy each day.
