		CU Student Treated For Meningococcal Disease; Family And Friends Being Treated A 19-year-old sophomore male student at the University of Colorado at Boulder was diagnosed Tuesday with meningococcal disease and is recovering at his home.
		CU-Boulder Enrolls Its Biggest Freshman Class; Overall Enrollment Is Up 1 Percent The University of Colorado at Boulder welcomed its largest freshman class ever this fall, with 5,617 new first-time students enrolled on Sept. 15, the date of the official census count for 2006. This year's freshman class is larger than the previous record of 5,571 in 2003 and more than 600 students larger than last year.
		Joint CU/NREL Energy Symposium Set For CU-Boulder Campus Oct. 3 A symposium to be hosted by the University of Colorado on Oct. 3 highlighting ongoing and proposed research efforts on renewable and sustainable energy will feature two free public talks by nationally known energy figures.
