We want to hear from you! “Your Turn,” the latest Inside CU feature, highlights perspectives of CU-Boulder faculty and staff on a variety of campus issues. Submission deadline for the Aug. 22 edition is 5 p.m., Wed., Aug. 16. See previous articles; to participate, please read the guidelines.

Faculty/Staff Football Ticket Offer
The Department of Athletics is offering a special two-game package for $25 for faculty and staff members. Get one ticket each for the Sept. 16 Arizona State University and Nov. 4 Kansas State University games for just $25. An additional ticket package may be purchased at the same price, and tickets may be purchased up until game day. Seats are for purple sections of Folsom Stadium and are subject to availability. To get your tickets, bring your CU faculty/staff ID to the ticket office. Call the ticket office at 492-8337 for more information.

Annual Tennis Marathon For Breast Cancer Aug. 26
Head women's tennis coach Nicole Kenneally and 1031 Solutions will host the Second Annual Tennis Marathon For Breast Cancer Saturday, Aug. 26 at the Millennium Harvest House in Boulder. The marathon will run 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and includes tennis matches, a silent auction and door prizes. Team registration is $450 and may include one to 18 members per squad. All proceeds go to HealthLinks Clinic, Inc. and HealthLinks Foundation. For information call 720-629-4628 or email

Chancellor"s Campus Address is Sept. 8
Chancellor G.P. “Bud” Peterson's first campus address to faculty and staff, co-hosted by the Boulder Faculty Assembly, will be held Friday, Sept. 8 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Old Main Chapel. This is a great opportunity for us to greet and hear from our new chancellor. A continental breakfast will be served.

One Book One Boulder
Welcome to the second year of the One Book One Boulder program! CU and the City of Boulder will be partnering to bring many diverse, thought provoking and exciting programs to town. This year's book is “When the Emperor Was Divine” by Julie Otsuka. The author will be in town for a public reading and book signing on Oct. 27.
