Your Turn Guidelines

The rules for participating:

  • Submissions must be no longer than 300 words in length and should include thoughtful analysis of the topic, often with statistical support and/or alternative proposals.

  • Proposed articles must be submitted by the deadline for that issue and may be returned to the writer before publication for length, grammar and accuracy revisions.

  • Articles must include full name, title, department, office phone number and CU-Boulder e-mail address. Anonymous submissions will not be published.

  • All opinion pieces are subject to editing and may not be published at all if the Inside CU editorial board judges them to be of insufficient interest to readers or inappropriate for a university publication. More specifically, opinion pieces containing personal criticism, information about CU-Boulder labor issues and non-campus elections will not be published. Inside CU may also limit the number of opinion pieces it publishes on one subject or from one individual.

All articles should be submitted via email to insidecu@colorado.edu
