Gloria Timmons Named New Employment Services Director
Gloria Timmons was appointed director of Employment Services in early June, and will begin her appointment July 1. Timmons has worked for the university since 1992, all but one year in the Department of Human Resources. More >>

Professor Ann Sheehan of the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences and graduate student Heidi Reeg teamed with the CU Science Explorers program in 2005-2006 to bring workshops on natural hazards to middle school teachers and students throughout Colorado. More >>

Diversity Magazines Release Degree Rankings
CU-Boulder is ranked once again in two annual magazine rankings for underrepresented students—Diverse Issues in Higher Education's Top 100 Undergraduate Producers and Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education's Top 100 Colleges Awarding Degrees to Hispanics. The magazines conducted rankings for the number of degrees awarded nationally in 2004-2005. More >>

Adversity, Achievement and Hope: A CU-Boulder Story
When I was handed the keys to the chancellor's office in January 2005, I knew I was facing some historic challenges in the life of the university. Little did I know that later, when I tried to describe everything that's happened during my time as interim chancellor, it would sound like a script from a movie, or sometimes, even a soap opera. And you know, I wouldn't trade this experience for anything. But I will admit that I'm looking forward to a really, really good night's sleep. More >>
