Infrared Technology Aids Campus Conservation
You may have noticed a helicopter flying low over the campus on the evening of Feb. 27. Using infrared technology, a camera mounted on the side of the helicopter took images of all campus building structures, assessing energy efficiency and locating moisture leaks in the rooftops. More >>

The University of Colorado at Boulder's highest faculty recognition for teaching and research, the Hazel Barnes Prize, has been awarded to biology professor and Presidential Teaching Scholar Alexander Cruz.
CU-Boulder Graduate Is First Alum To Win Gates Scholarship For Study At Cambridge University
University of Colorado at Boulder alumnus Alejandro Ramirez this spring became the first CU-Boulder graduate to win the Gates Cambridge Scholarship for study in the United Kingdom, funded by Microsoft founder Bill Gates.
CU-Boulder Vice Chancellor Accepts LAC Recommendations
The University of Colorado at Boulder has accepted the chief recommendations of the Licensing Advisory Committee, which has expressed qualified support for the Designated Supplier Program proposed by the national United Students Against Sweatshop Apparel and campaigned for on the Boulder campus by students and others aligned with the Coalition Against Sweatshop Apparel (CASA).

Residential Campus Initiative
Last summer, a Residential Campus Study Group was charged by Chancellor Phil DiStefano to study the merits of developing a Residential Campus for the University of Colorado at Boulder. The group was further asked that, should the study conclude such a model had merit, they identify and propose the best Residential Campus concept for implementation. More >>
