IN THE SPOTLIGHT Now Accepting Submissions for "Passages" Feature
Over time, members of the university community develop relationships with colleagues and share major events in their lives – births, marriages, anniversaries and more. When we experience the death of a coworker due to illness, accident or natural causes, it often leaves a personal and professional void. In recognition of the valuable contributions these employees have made in their departments, Inside CU has started a new annual feature called "Passages." We are now accepting tributes for publication in the May 9 issue. Submissions will be accepted through May 3. If you would like to recognize a coworker who passed in the previous 12 months, please submit a 75-word article with his or her name, title and department, along with other information you would like to share, such as contributions the employee made to the department. Pictures submitted in jpeg format may also be included. Please send the information to insidecu@colorado.edu or click on the “Contact Us” link at the bottom of this page. For questions, contact Allison Sylvest, Inside CU editor, at (303) 492-8910 or Allison.Sylvest@Colorado.Edu. Passages is designed to recognize employees who were active in 2005-06 only. For obituary notices for retirees, contact the Silver & Gold Record. |
