Family Weekend
Family Weekend takes place Oct. 13-15. Brochures are available on the Office of Parent Relations website. This year, around 4,400 visitors are expected on campus. Family Weekend is a great opportunity to meet with our students' family members and present a positive campus atmosphere. Thank you to the many faculty and staff members who are volunteering their time to help out with this event. If you have questions contact the Office of Parent Relations at 303-492-1380 or parents@colorado.edu.
A Hearty Welcome from the Retired Staff Association
The University of Colorado Retired Staff Association welcomes retirees! RSA is an organization that provides services and events for classified and professional exempt staff who have retired from the university. The association currently produces two social events each year (a holiday party and a summer picnic) where retirees can meet and catch up with old friends and former associates. RSA also is hoping to define issues that are important and interesting to retirees and to represent those concerns and provide information relevant to the members. For more information, please contact JC.Ancell@colorado.edu.
Be Prepared for Flu Season
With flu season approaching, now is a great time to review some useful tips that can help prevent you from getting sick. The CU-Boulder Pandemic Flu website contains valuable information about the differences between seasonal, avian and pandemic flu and the steps you can take to prevent and prepare for the possibility of an outbreak. Look for information around campus about the Oct. 26-27 flu clinics at the Student Recreation Center.
