IN THE SPOTLIGHT Inside CU Introduces New Annual "Passages" Feature
Over time, members of the university community develop relationships with colleagues and share major events in their lives – births, marriages, anniversaries and more. When we experience the death of a coworker due to illness, accident or natural causes, it often leaves a personal and professional void. In recognition of the valuable contributions these employees have made in their departments, Inside CU is starting a new annual feature called "Passages." "Passages" will be published in the first May edition of Inside CU each year. The initial one will be published on May 9. If you would like to recognize a coworker who has passed in the previous 12 months, please submit a 75-word tribute with his or her name, title and department, along with other information you would like to share. Pictures submitted in jpeg format may also be included. Please send the information to InsideCU@colorado.edu or click on the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of this page. Submissions will be accepted through May 3. For questions, contact Allison Sylvest, Inside CU editor, at (303) 492-8910 or Allison.Sylvest@Colorado.Edu. Passages is designed to recognize current employees only. For obituary notices for retired employees, contact the Silver & Gold Record. |
