An official web site has been created to organize the efforts of our CU-Boulder community in responding with help to the needs of Hurricane Katrina victims. Visit CU-Boulder Hurricane Relief Information for information on professional assistance, events and how you can help. CU Custodial Staff Appreciation Day
Join the Boulder campus in recognizing the hard work of our extraordinary custodial team on Sept. 13 in the UMC Ballroom at 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Celebrate the efforts of our custodial staff in conjunction with International Housekeepers Week by saying "thank you" for work well done. If you can't make the festivities, show your appreciation this week by noticing the work of a custodian on campus and saying thanks! Staff Appreciation Breakfast
All classified and professional exempt staff are invited to the annual Staff Appreciation Breakfast Wednesday, Sept. 21 in the UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom, 7 a.m. - 9 a.m. Chip, the Colorado Spirit Squad and CU Express will make appearances. School supplies will be collected for Emergency Family Assistance Association's Echo House Shelter and San Juan Del Centro's Family Learning Center. Chancellor's Open Forum 
All faculty and staff are invited to the first 2005-2006 Chancellor's Open Forum on Tuesday, Sept. 27. The forum will be held in Old Main Chapel, 3 p.m. - 4 p.m., followed by a reception in the Heritage Center, 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. Promoted and tenured faculty will be recognized.
