DID YOU KNOW? CUConnect Debuts to Faculty CUConnect, the campus web-based portal, successfully launched to students over the past academic year. The portal will be available to all CU-Boulder faculty on August 16. Log on to CUConnect https://cuconnect.colorado.edu to see your teaching schedule, student rosters, photo rosters and a variety of other information and services. Testing of CUConnect features for staff is underway and portal access will be available campuswide this fall. Introducing Family Fun Zone at Folsom Field The athletic department Family Fun Zone is a mini-season ticket package for four of CU's six games at Folsom Field this fall. The package includes tickets to New Mexico State, Texas A&M, Kansas and Missouri games, one hot dog and a drink for $100 per seat. Family Fun Zone seats are located in section 207, second deck in the south horseshoe of the stadium. Call the athletic ticket office to order or for more information: 492-8337. 2005 Tennis Marathon for Breast Cancer Play tennis, receive a participant bag, free food, door prizes and more at the 2005 Tennis Marathon for Breast Cancer. The marathon will take place Saturday, Aug. 20, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. at the South Campus tennis courts. Food will be served 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Sign up to participate as part of a team and play in rotation. Proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. For more information call (720) 275-3836. Time Change for Convocation and Global Jam New Student Convocation will be held on Friday, Aug. 19 at 11:30 a.m. on Norlin Quad. The earlier starting time is designed to make it easier for faculty and staff to attend. The annual Global Jam, featuring entertainment and foods representing a variety of cultures, will begin immediately afterwards on Farrand Field. These annual events help create a positive atmosphere and an invigorating spirit for the upcoming academic year for students, faculty and staff. Hope you can make it!
