CU Takes Part in 9 Cares, Colorado Shares
Meet Marty Coniglio and Nick Carter from 9News on Saturday, Nov. 12 as they host the CU-Boulder drop-off site for the 9Cares Colorado Shares Holiday Drive. The 9Cares collection site will be in parking Lot 436 at the southwest corner of Highway 36 and Colorado Avenue. Nonperishable food, new and used clothing and toys will be collected 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and donated items distributed through area nonprofit organizations. Celebrate with the Winners of the Solar Decathlon Nov. 18
Join in a celebration of CU's Solar Decathlon team and learn more about the design, building and operation of their zero-energy solar home on Friday, Nov. 18, 3-5 p.m. Welcoming remarks by Chancellor DiStefano at 3 p.m. in Math 100, solar home Open House, 4-5 p.m. on Fisher Field south of Benson Earth Sciences. Distinguished Professor Nomination Deadline
The Office of the Provost is now accepting nominations for Distinguished Professor. The deadline for nominations is 4 p.m. on Feb. 17, 2006. Criteria for the entitlement are excellence in teaching, distinguished performance in research or creative work and a record of outstanding service to CU and/or an affiliate institution. The 11th Annual Campus Diversity Summit will feature keynote speaker Lee Mun Wah, award-winning filmmaker of "Last Chance for Eden" and "The Color of Fear." This year's theme, "Diversity
