Expanding the Literacy Practicum
This grant expands, deepens, and institutionalizes the scope and reach of The Literacy Practicum where undergraduate students work with community partners to provide literacy support to elementary school children learning to read as well as language support to people of all ages who are learning English. It expands and institutionalized the Literacy Practicum from one course to three. It deepens the practicum by providing more resources, expands mentorship support and support, creates better coordination of course content and practicum activities.
