Constitution Day art competition spotlights speech rights and restrictions CU honors Constitution Day this year with an art competition sponsored by the Institute for Ethical and Civic Engagement (IECE) and the ATLAS Center for the Arts, Media Performance . This year's event focuses on the conflict between hate speech codes and First Amendment rights of free speech. All student visual artists are invited to apply. Deadline for submission of ready-to-hang works is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12. Cash awards up to $500 will be determined announced on Constitution Day, Sept. 17.
