Natural Hazards Observer

Past Observer Issues:

The Bimonthly Periodical of the Natural Hazards Center

The Natural Hazards Observer covers disaster issues, recent disaster management and education programs, hazards research, political and policy developments, resources and Web sites, upcoming conferences, and recent publications.

Distributed to over 15,000 subscribers in the United States and abroad the Observer focuses on human adaptation and response to natural hazards and is a forum for interested individuals to express opinions through invited personal articles.

Notice to Subscribers: Budget constraints require us to suspend the Observer's print publication for the next three issues. You'll find the May, July, and September issues online here or take a moment to subscribe to our e-mail notification list at the link below. We'll let you know when the newest Observer is available.

Even if you don't want to receive e-mail notifications, it's a good idea to update your information. We expect the Observer to be back in print by November 2010.
