Introduction to R ~ Wednesday and Thursday, January 9 and 10, 2013, 9:30-11:30 AM

This workshop will introduce participants to the R statistical programming language with an emphasis on data types, importing data, and manipulating data (merging/sorting/subsetting). We will also cover plotting and simple statistical functions, and how to save output to a file for later use or sharing. Efficient coding practices using functions and loops will also be discussed. No prior experience with R required to attend. Particpants are encouraged to bring their own data sets to work with.
