>> **Economic Trainee - Berlin, Germany ** - Please
visit: www.civic-consulting.de and click on "Job Opportunities."
The Economic Trainee position will train you into a junior
consultant position over the course of 18 months. This requires
extensive database research, developing methodology for
studies, interviewing stakeholders, writing socio-economic
impact assessments and involves quite a bit of travel around
Europe, sometimes other parts of the world, and certainly
quite often to Brussels. Our main clients are the European
Commission, European Parliament, OIE and the World Bank.
Our studies range from financial services, animal health/welfare,
and public risk assessment. The Junior Economic consultant
will have similar tasks but with a more accelerated level
of economic work to be done and responsibility. This contract
will be unlimited and the pay is higher.
The company is small with a strong international element.
Because it is so small, you will acquire quite a bit of
responsibility and variety in the work load. We work in
Berlin which is certainly becoming one of the trendiest/liveliest
cities in Europe and very international! The benefits are
nice: 24 days of holiday a year; and work hours range from
40-45 hours a week usually, though of course during deadlines
it can increase. The company is very eager to have a native
English speaker and
especially one from the US. -- German skills are not necessary.

die because they are simply too poor to stay alive. You
can change this. Nourish International is inviting
you to be a part of the solution to global poverty by enrolling
in our Chapter Founders Program. Last summer, three Nourish

capital as they take on the challenge of leading poverty
eradication efforts at their university. To apply, get more
information or nominate a friend, go to http://www.nourishinternational.org/founders.
