Marissa Heimler (’17) is majoring in International Affairs and Spanish, and is currently studying abroad for the Fall 2015 semester with the ISA: Hispanic Studies Program, in Granada, Spain. This program offers Spanish language courses as well as a variety of Hispanic studies courses at the advanced level. Courses are taught at the University of Granada, one of the oldest universities in Spain, founded in 1531. As part of her academic experience abroad, Heimler has also been given opportunities to see various cities in Spain including an excursion to Morocco. 

Heimler is also recognized as an Emerging Scholar of the International Affairs Program, and serves as a member of the IAFS Student Advisory Group at CU-Boulder.
