Fundamentals of Supervision

Attendance is required at all sessions.
This course is for lead workers and individuals who supervise staff, students, seasonal and temporary employees. The following supervision skills are covered: supervisor's function, communication, delegation, on-the-job training, conflict management, coaching and diversity. It is also an excellent course for staff preparing to supervise. Participants must attend all full days of class. (35 hours total, minimum 10 participants.)

Parking is available at meters on Marine Street. In addition,
if UCB employees have access to business or vendor permits through their
departments, these maybe used in conjunction with the employee's UCB parking
permit. Parking can be limited so we recommend using the Stampede if traveling
from Main campus.
