Job postings can be found at www.jobsatcu.com. You must submit an on-line application in addition to any materials requested in response to a posted job announcement. (Resumes or paper applications will not be accepted in lieu of the on-line application.) In order to be considered, applications must be submitted by the posted closing date. Late applications are not accepted. Communication for positions may be conducted by telephone, e-mail or US mail. An e-mail address is required on your application.
Please note that Colorado law requires that candidates for state classified jobs be residents of Colorado. For some positions, a polygraph, criminal history background investigation, financial history check, motor vehicle history check, and/or pre-placement physical may be required. This requirement will be noted in the job announcement.
Applications for specific vacancy announcements will remain active for that vacancy only. Applications are part of the selection process and will be reviewed to determine that minimum requirements are met and may also be used as part of the assessment process. Application materials must specifically address the minimum requirements as announced. Failure to include required documentation might result in your application being rejected. Applicants are notified of the results of the review process. If you have questions about the review of your application, you will have five days from notification to contact a Human Resources Consultant. If informal resolution is unsuccessful, you may file a request for review with the State Personnel Director. The written request must be filed within ten calendar days of original written notification. To request a review, you are required to complete and submit the Colorado State Personnel Consolidated Appeal/Dispute form, available at http://www.colorado.gov/dpa/spb/appealdispute.pdf. Instructions for completing the form are also available. If you are not able to access the forms or if you require assistance, please contact Employment Services at 303/492-6475.
