Welcome Officers and Exempt Professional Staff
As an exempt professional employee, you provide the university
with a broad range of services, from directing programs to managing budgets
for schools or colleges. Exempt professional staff are employees who hold
positions that have been exempted from the state personnel system pursuant
to state law. You are an integral part of the university community and
assist in meeting the goals of a comprehensive research institution.

Ways to Stay Informed
Information is a key to success, and there are a variety
of ways to stay informed of human resource issues.
- E-Mail - Buff Bulletins offer staff quick and easy
access to information and events, as do Administrative E-Memos
and e-mail distribution lists.
- Campus Groups - We work
closely with a variety of campus groups such as the Boulder Human Resources
Council, the Chancellor's
Committee on Women, Boulder
Campus Staff Council, and the CU
Women's Network.
- Events - We offer a variety of training programs as well as
open forums and town meetings for the campus community, as issues and
changes in procedure require.
- Silver & Gold
Record - We partner with the university's newspaper to list
job announcements, to advertise events, and to provide human resource
information of interest to the campus community.
- Web - Our web site always has the latest and
most important information you'll need regarding human resources and
employment on the Boulder campus.
- CUConnect
- CU-Boulder's secure portal to web-based services and information.
Staff can access their pay advice on-line, system resources, accounting
tools, news, announcements with much more to come.
