What We Do
The Office of the Executive Director oversees the five
main functional units that comprise the Department of Human Resources.
They are Employment Services, the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program,
the Office of Discrimination and Harassment, the Office of Labor Relations,
and Organizational and Employee Development . Two additional units within
the Office of the Executive Director are Records Services and Human Resources Information
Technology Services. In addition to providing oversight and guidance to
these functional units, the Office of the Executive Director is responsible
for strategic planning and management for the Department of Human Resources;
providing guidance and expertise in the management of human resources
for the Boulder campus; providing interpretation of university policies
and state rules; administration of required employment documents; and
communications and outreach to campus constituents regarding human resource
issues.
