Study questions are designed to help you develop the skills necessary to write a critical paper. These skills include establishing a thesis and then supporting it through direct references to the text. Two five-page papers are required as part of your final grade. If you take the time to do a good job on the study questions, you should be able to easily translate these skills to your five-page papers.
