History Department Commencement

Please note: The History Department does not hold departmental commencement ceremonies for December graduation, but December graduates may participate in the Spring ceremony if they would like to do so.

The History department Spring 2012 Commencement will be held:

Thursday, May 10th, 2012
5:00 pm.
Mary Rippon Outdoor Amphitheatre

(located between the wings of the Hellems building)

Below you will find .pdf versions of the invitation, instructions, and a campus map with Hellems marked in blue. (Note: you will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader to view these files.) If you have questions after reading the attachments, please contact Kellie Matthews at (303) 492-6683 or history@colorado.edu. (Note: The invitation and instructions will be posted after Spring 2012 begins)

There is no limit on the number of guests you may bring, and you do not need tickets, however, graduating students will need to RSVP to the department at the above email or phone number with their name and the number of people expected (including themselves). The amphtheatre is wheelchair-accessible from the south-west entrance near the Museum and Denison Buildings.

For those of you trying to plan dinner, the departmental ceremony lasts approximately one hour.

Note: In case of seriously inclement weather the ceremony may be postponed slightly, or may be cancelled. There is no alternate location.
