Final Paper
Final papers are due at the beginning of class on Tuesday, December 2. Your paper must be between ten and fifteen pages long, double spaced. Late work will be penalized a third of a grade for each day it’s late (e.g. an A paper submitted two days late will receive a B+).
This is a research paper and your argument must be based on primary sources. The paper must also include a discussion of relevant secondary accounts. Take note: papers that do not meet these fundamental requirements and lack prior approval from me may be penalized a minimum of two letter grades (e.g. from an A to a C). All primary and secondary material must be properly cited, following the Chicago Manual of Style.
In addition to submitting a paper copy, you must upload your paper to Turnitin.com in order to receive credit (see the instruction sheet distributed in class).
