Submitting Papers to Turnitin.com

In addition to submitting the paper copy of your final paper, you must also submit an electronic copy to the plagiarism screening service Turnitin.com.  Please submit this electronic copy by midnight on Wednesday, May 3.

You will not receive credit for your paper if you do not submit it to Turnitin.com!

Enrolling in Turnitin.com

You must enroll in Turnitin.com before you can submit your paper.  The enrollment process should take only a few minutes.

Class enrollment password: empire

1) Go to <www.turnitin.com>.

2) Click on “create new user profile” and follow instructions.

3) Click on “enrollment wizard” and follow instructions.

Submitting a Paper to Turnitin.com

1) Go to <www.turnitin.com> and log in with the password you created for yourself.

2) Click on Hist 3133.

3) (Optional) If you wish, you can submit a draft of your paper.  Next to “OPTIONAL DRAFT,” you’ll see a button labeled “submit.”  Click “submit” and follow instructions.

4) (Required) Next to “FINAL PAPER,” you’ll see a button labeled “submit.”  Click “submit” and follow instructions.

5) You’re done!
