Primary Source Exercise
Primary source exercises are due at the beginning of class on Wednesday, March 15.
Identify a source you will use in your final paper. This source may be textual, visual (e.g. a map), or even aural (e.g. a national anthem).
Provide a full citation, properly formatted. You are responsible for looking up the proper citation in the Chicago Manual of Style (available in Norlin).
Briefly describe your source (one paragraph should suffice).
Finally, provide a preliminary discussion of your source’s relevance to the question(s) outlined in your paper proposal (or questions you’ve subsequently developed).
Your assignment must be at least two pages, double spaced.
