Travel Clinic
Wardenburg Health Center’s Travel Clinic can provide the information and advice you need to have a great trip whether it’s on your own or for a study abroad program! These services are available to CU students and their spouses/domestic partners. Many of our travel providers are members of the Colorado Coalition for Travel Health Practitioners.
Travel Health Services
- Physical exams for students traveling internationally and those in study abroad programs, Semester at Sea, Peace Corps, and Fullbright programs
- Current and individualized health risk information
- Review of travel itinerary, previous immunizations, and individual health needs
- Advice on recommended and/or required immunizations
- Information on malaria prophylaxis, as well as on prevention and/or treatment of travel related illnesses specific to your destination
- Recommendations for traveler’s first aid kit and/or water purification
- Post travel care and consultation as needed

Plan Ahead
It is important to plan ahead as some immunizations require a series of injections and must be completed a month or more in advance of travel.
Please bring the following to your appointment:
- Complete immunization records
- Travel program paperwork (if applicable)
- Your travel itinerary
- A list of current medications

Appointment Information
How to make an appointment for this clinic:
If you are traveling or studying abroad or need travel immunizations, an appointment is necessary. Call 303.492.5432, M – F: 8AM – 5PM to schedule.
Cancellation Procedure:
Appointments must be cancelled by 5PM the business day before your appointment by calling 303.492.5342. Late cancellations and missed appointments will result in a $30 charge.
Check-in Procedure:
Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment (30 minutes if it's your first visit to Wardenburg) to fill out any necessary paperwork. Self check-in computers are located on the second floor. After checking in, go to the Medical Clinic desk and give them your name. *Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in your being rescheduled.
